Join our "1000 hours for GIST" project

Our "1000 hours for GIST" project is to encourage 1,000 busy people who wish to help, to sign up and donate one hour (or equivalent) of their wages each month.

Our amazing supporters over the last few years have organised hugely successful events such as Themed Balls, Marathon runs and Cycle rides, Quiz Nights and Coffee mornings and sales to name but a few things. If you have an idea for a fundraising event that you'd like to discuss with us we can help by providing our information pack and lots of materials to assist with your event.

Ways we can help with your Fundraising...

Our online fundraising tools enable you to set up personalised fundraising pages quickly and easily, using Justgiving.  We can also help by supplying printed T-shirts, running vests, balloons, collecting tins and a range of awareness raising posters & flyers. Our dedicated fundraising co-ordinator will help you with any aspects of your fundraising.

Taking Part in an Organised Event (Marathon's, Triathlon's etc)

If you'd like to support the PAWS-GIST initiative by taking part in an officially organised event or particular challenge, and would like advice or help to register, please do let us know, we'll be happy to help where we can!

Corporate Matching Donations

You may be able to double or even triple the impact of your donation through a matching gift from your employer. Talk to your human resources department to find out if your company will match gifts made to support PAWS-GIST clinics and research.

If you would like to sell an item on Ebay and donate to PAWS-GIST, go to the Sell hub and select 'Advanced Sell'. As you are filling out the details, look for the charity box just below where you set your price. Select "PAWS-GIST" and the percentage of your final selling price you would like to donate! The proportion of the sale price that is donated to PAWS-GIST is then free of sellers fees!
